sectionheader Developing an Online Orientation :: Webcast March 1 & 3, 2010

colorDownload A PDF Brochure

Overview

Given the shifting demographics and needs of incoming students, online orientations have emerged as a useful tool for engaging diverse student populations. A thoughtfully designed and accessible online orientation can get students connected with campus services and with their peers in those critical first moments of their experience at your institution.

Join us online to learn how to develop a thorough and effective online orientation. This web conference will help you:

  • Set up and structure the orientation
  • Involve the right people at the right time
  • Incorporate the right technology
  • Assess the effectiveness of the orientation
  • Maintain and improve the orientation

Participants will have an opportunity to have their own orientations critiqued as part of the live session.

Who Should Attend

These sessions will provide guidance for enrollment managers and student service professionals as they develop or revamp their online or hybrid orientation for incoming students.

Please note that this conference is not specifically geared toward distance learners, but rather a broader base of students who need flexibility in accessing orientation options.
