Meg Petersen
Meg Petersen is the director of young alumni giving at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and has served as the interim director of student giving twice during her almost four years at the Carolina Annual Fund. She began her career as the assistant director of the annual fund for the School of Journalism and Mass Communication at UNC, after graduating with a degree in public relations from the school in 2007. Meg was the president of the Class of 2007 and helped to initiate the transition from a senior gift program to the current senior campaign model. The campaign model increased participation among graduating seniors from about 12 percent in 2006 to 48 percent in fiscal year 2011. Meg has presented on student and young alumni giving through CASE, as well as at the Carolinas Annual Fund Conference.
