We are very excited to formalize this relationship and believe she is the right person to contribute at a high level and help move Academic Impressions' business forward.”

Dr. Miles will bring a wealth of experience having previously served in support roles for students from diverse backgrounds during her tenure at Florida State University; as the Chief Student Affairs and Chief Diversity Officer at the Indiana University campus in Columbus, IN (IUPUC); the Vice Provost for Student Affairs at the University of Missouri - Kansas City; the Vice President for Student Affairs and Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer at a small liberal arts college in northeast Florida, and most recently as the Founder and CEO of DSM Initiatives, LLC – a global leadership, diversity, and wholistic coaching and consulting firm.

“It’s exciting to have the opportunity to join the team at Academic Impressions in this capacity while DEI is at the top of most priority lists at campuses across the country,” said Miles. “Academic Impressions has been helping colleges engage in these important conversations for years and I’m excited to connect and reconnect with colleagues across the country who are serious about making real change on their campuses and in their communities and could benefit from the external support that Academic Impressions has to offer.”

In addition to DEI, Academic Impressions has hired Heads of Practice for the areas of Academic Innovation and Leadership, respectively.
