Who should attend?

This training was designed for financial leaders and budget officers looking to fine-tune their budgeting engagement strategies. Provosts and deans may also benefit from the discussion.

Agenda

In this webcast, we’ll cover intentional approaches to reporting, messaging, and technology that will  keep your stakeholders connected to your budget throughout the year.

REPORTING
To bring our program, we’ll discuss how you can apply Oklahoma Christian’s frequent and thorough budgetary reporting process to your own institution.  You’ll learn which items Oklahoma Christian tracks on a monthly basis, including budget-to-actuals and various forecasts, to keep the Board and Cabinet connected to important financial realities.

MESSAGING
In this section, we’ll discuss ways you can be more effective in communicating your institution’s financial challenges and opportunities.  At Oklahoma Christian, the President discusses financials with the campus community monthly to ensure better budgetary outcomes.

TECHNOLOGY
You’ll learn how software tools can help individual budget managers stay engaged with budgeting and expense forecasting processes.  You’ll see how these tools help budget managers at Oklahoma Christian keep crucial information at their fingertips, which enables these managers to maintain a new kind of understanding and responsiveness.
