Our research on transfer student support has yielded relevant and innovative findings - see what your peers in higher ed are doing in this space.
Admissions directors from public and private institutions alike are increasingly focusing on transfer student enrollment and support in order to mitigate significant enrollment declines from first-year, traditional undergraduate students.
Our research with admissions and student support professionals shows that the 3 keys to increasing transfer student enrollment and support are:
- Building better partnerships and pathways between 2-year and 4-year institutions
- Improving pre-transfer advising, especially when it comes to the articulation of credit
- Creating intentional and meaningful systems for transfer student support upon arrival
In this vein, we’re excited to offer 2 webcasts to help you chip away at these issues:
- One webcast focuses on an innovative program at University of Michigan that has notably improved transfer student support, and
- One webcast focuses on an innovative program at University of Cincinnati that has created a one-stop shop for ALL things related to transfer students - including partnerships, pre-arrival advising, and welcome and orientation programming.
Who Should Attend
These webcasts have been designed student support professionals who work directly with transfer students or who oversee transfer support. Those in enrollment management tasked with increasing student success and retention will also benefit.
