The Leadership Investment Higher Ed Can’t Keep Deferring

But the 2025 Academic Impressions Professional Development Survey points to something unfolding closer to home.  Two-thirds of current higher education leaders have held their roles for five years or less. More than one in five employees feel like outsiders in their own units.
