Andrea Salazar Morgan

Andrea has been a part of the Mines community for 17 years, and prior to her role in MEP, served as the Assistant Director in Undergraduate Admissions. Collaborating with various offices on campus including Women in Science, Engineering and Mathematics (WISEM), the Center for Academic Services and Advising (CASA), and the Office of Graduate Studies, she provides programming that contributes to the enrollment, retention, and graduation of students who are historically underrepresented in STEM. Andrea has served as a Mentor for Freshman Success Seminar – CSM101, and on the President’s Committee on Diversity. In 2008, she received the “CSM Connected Learning Community Award for Administrative Faculty Excellence”. Andrea is a graduate of Colorado State University with a degree in Speech Communications, and is currently pursuing a degree in International Political Economy of Resources at Colorado School of Mines.
