Betsy Robertson

Betsy Robertson has edited Auburn Magazine, Auburn University’s flagship alumni publication, since March 2005. During that time, she and her team have received more than a dozen national and regional awards for their work from the Council for Advancement and Support of Education. Betsy also oversees all constituent communication for the Auburn Alumni Association, from print collateral to ebroadcasts, websites and social media. A native of Gainesville, GA, Betsy began her writing and editing career as a daily newspaper reporter and has served as a freelance news writer for CNN.com. She has worked in higher-education publications and public relations for 19 years, including stints at Georgia State University in Atlanta, where she oversaw that institution’s alumni magazine as well as its media relations team, and at Kennesaw State University, where she served on the public relations staff.
