Christopher P. Long is Associate Dean for Graduate and Undergraduate Education and Professor of Philosophy and Classics in the College of the Liberal Arts at The Pennsylvania State University. He is the author of a the enhanced digital book, Socratic and Platonic Politics: Practicing a Politics of Reading (Cambridge 2014), in addition to two other books, Aristotle on the Nature of Truth, (Cambridge, 2011) and The Ethics of Ontology: Rethinking an Aristotelian Legacy, (SUNY, 2004). Over the past ten years, he has been a leader in using social media technologies to cultivate communities of learning and research in philosophy and the digital humanities.
