Darran Fernandez

A proud and active alumnus of both Carleton University (BA in Political Science & Communication) and the University of British Columbia (MEd in Higher Education & Student Affairs), Darren has worked as a higher education professional for over seven years honing his skills in orientation, transition and leadership programming, alumni relations and, most recently, enrolment management. Darran’s previous experience saw him working in politics in Canada and the UK with Members of Parliament.

Darran’s work and academic background reflects his focus on a client-centred environment in ensuring an outstanding stakeholder experience among our students and alumni, alike. Outside of Darran’s day-to-day, he is involved with a number of community based organizations with a focus on leadership development and mentorship among youth and engaging volunteerism among young and emerging professionals.
