Frank Dobson
For the past seven years, Frank has served as faculty head of house at Vanderbilt University’s Martha Rivers Ingram Commons. As faculty head of this living and learning community, Frank works closely with residential education professionals, resident advisors, and faculty colleagues to provide a stimulating experience for residents within the house. Moreover, he and his wife reside in a house with 240 first-year students.
Frank teaches at Fisk University, as well as Vanderbilt, and he has held numerous faculty and administrative posts over the past thirty years in higher education. Frank is a respected author and scholar, with two novels to his credit, as well as other publications. Frank has also spoken nationwide on issues of diversity and inclusion.
