Jeff Geldien

Jeff has close to a decade of experience leading and managing all areas related to law school advancement. He is responsible for planning and executing the programs which develop and support the School of Law’s annual giving, major gifts, planned gifts, board management, and capital campaign programs. Jeff has a keen understanding of the psychology of fundraising with lawyers as well as how changes in the legal industry have affected not only legal education, but also law school advancement. He also has extensive experience managing advancement relationships with deans and vice presidents.

Jeff is currently a candidate for a PhD in Leadership Studies at Gonzaga and has been able to utilize his understanding of leadership as he has built a successful advancement shop, even during difficult times for law school advancement. He also serves as president of the Gonzaga Staff Assembly, which has assisted him in understanding how a university operates and, specifically, how a law school fits into the greater picture.
