Jim Franzone
Jim Franzone is the Program Director for three of UW-Madison’s Learning Communities. Jim has the privilege of working with the faculty and staff of the Entrepreneurial Residential Learning Community, The Studio (a creative arts and design community), and the Women in Science and Engineering Program. Jim has been part of founding teams for the ERLC, Studio programs and was also part of the initial start-up and expansion of the International Learning Community. Jim’s work with WISE has focused on building a team where everyone takes part in the educational mission of the program and finding ways for the program to interact meaningfully with the other learning communities. Jim has worked for at UW-Madison’s Division of University Housing since 2001. He has also been actively engaged in Madison’s Administrative Process Redesign work as a team member and functional lead. Jim graduated with a Master’s of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse in College Student Development and Administration. His undergraduate degree was a bachelor’s of science in Psychology from Millikin University.
