Jim Froehlich
A University of Dayton alumnus, Jim re-joined the University of Dayton in 2005 as the IT manager for dining services. In February of 2008 he was promoted to the assistant director of dining services for marketing and systems. During his tenure in dining services, Jim was instrumental in developing a number of initiatives to improve student services and authored five award-winning submissions showcasing the operations of dining services. Additionally, he designed and built a reporting infrastructure that integrated information from all dining services’ systems, thereby assisting dining services in understanding their customers’ needs better.
In 2013, Jim was promoted to director of housing operations in the Department of Housing and Residence Life at the University of Dayton. Housing Operations is responsible for generating more than $47 million dollars in revenue during the academic year. During his tenure, Jim streamlined the transitional housing process, implemented numerous policies and practices to improve security in the residence halls and oversaw the integration of conference services into the housing operations work flow.
