In his role, John coordinates with ITCS staff for technical support, trains faculty and staff regarding navigating the system, develops informational manuals, responds to faculty and staff questions, and troubleshoots. A critical role for John is working with the Pirate Tutoring Center to encouraging students to seek academic assistance. This is no small task as over 120,000 early alert notifications have been raised by faculty since fall 2011. John has over ten years’ experience in higher education in advising and student support programs. He earned his Master of Science degree in Student Personnel Administration from SUNY at Buffalo State and a Bachelor of Science Degree from Medaille College in Mental Health and Human Services.
