Kristin Bertell, MA, CFRE
Kristin, a 25 year veteran in the philanthropic field, is currently responsible for all fundraising activities related to generating support for Health Sciences, including clinical, research and academic programs, generating approximately $75M to $100M in private support annually. Prior to this position, she held leadership roles at The Greenwood Company, the Salk Institute for Biological Studies, Keck School of Medicine at USC, and California Lutheran University. She began her career at UCLA Health Sciences Development.
Kristin is a graduate of UCLA and holds a master’s degree in communications management from the Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism at the University of Southern California. A certified fundraising executive with the National Society of Fund Raising Executives, she is also a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, the Association of Healthcare Philanthropy and the Southern California Association of Healthcare Development.
