Mark Hartell

Mark has over 25 years of project management experience across a diversity of environments from financial services to utility providers, retail environments, and higher education.

Originally from the United Kingdom, Mark has been responsible for implementing and enhancing project management standards in a number of organizations. His focus is to blend formal project management methods with soft skills to not only achieve project objectives but also improve the capabilities of the organizations he works with and the people within them. For example, a recent data centre construction and migration project delivered on time and $3 million under budget but also enabled almost $1 million of annual savings whilst improving systems uptime.

Mark also worked recently with the University of California at Santa Barbara to prepare the academic library for a $75 million expansion and renovation project.
