Mary E. Mancini
Dr. Mancini has led the undergraduate nursing program through the implementation of its innovative and successful online Academic Partnership program. She also managed the preparation and execution of the Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) offering that the UTA nursing program has released. Mary has more than 90 publications to her credit and is a sought after speaker at local, national, and international conferences on such topics as innovations in health professions education and the transformative redesign of education.
Dr. Mancini received a BSN from Rhode Island College, a Masters in Nursing Administration from The University of Rhode Island, and a PhD in Public and Urban Affairs from The University of Texas at Arlington. Prior to moving to an academic role in 2004, Dr. Mancini held progressive management positions in the service sector including 18 years as Senior Vice President for Nursing Administration and Chief Nursing Officer.
