Michael Tullier
Michael Tullier has overseen higher education strategic and development communications for more than a decade. This has included research communications for a multi-constituency research consortium, college-level alumni relations and development communications, and currently, all aspects of university-level development communications and marketing for Auburn University’s Office of Development. A Louisiana native, Michael began his nearly 20-year public relations career in the nonprofit sector after earning a bachelor’s in mass communications from LSU. He continued this work while and after earning a master’s in public administration from Auburn. After leading both state and regional public relations associations, he earned the Accredited in Public Relations, or APR, credential in 2003. His advocacy on behalf of public relations accreditation led to national volunteer roles chairing the APR-granting Universal Accreditation Board and later led APR-marketing efforts for the Public Relations Society of America.
