Scott Van Loo
Dr. Scott D. Van Loo is Vice President for Enrollment Management and Marketing at Ashland University. Ashland University has 2,300 traditional undergraduate students and 3,700 adult and graduate students. In his role of chief enrollment officer at the institution, he oversees all student recruitment and marketing efforts at the university. He serves on several committees at the university including the University Strategic Planning Committee and the Board of Trustees Enrollment Management Committee (co-chair). Most recently, he led the university through a successful undergraduate tuition reset resulting in increased enrollments and a repositioned tuition pricing model.
Prior to joining Ashland University, Dr. Van Loo was Vice President for Enrollment Management at Southern Seminary and Director of Admissions at Cedarville University. He has provided leadership to enrollment units focused on recruiting both traditional and nontraditional students. During his career, he has seen positive enrollment growth occur at each institution leading to the increased enrollment of both traditional and nontraditional students.
