Benjamin Hagan

Assistant Director of Undergraduate Admissions, Oklahoma State University

Benjamin Hagan is the Assistant Director of Undergraduate Admissions and has been at Oklahoma State University since early 2008. A member of the admissions leadership team, Ben has played a part enrolling a number of record-breaking classes at OSU. Ben is co-chair of the ACT State Council for Oklahoma and presents nationally on topics related to recruitment, financial aid, and management.

Ben divides his leadership responsibilities between prospective student financial aid, helping define OSU’s recruitment strategies, and facilitating the relationship with Stillwater Public Schools. In his time with OSU, Ben has been responsible for the campus tour and events programing, in-state and out-of-state freshman recruitment, transfer recruitment as well as a year working remotely while recruiting in Houston, TX.

Prior to joining OSU, Ben was the Senior Photography Producer for Williams-Sonoma, Inc. in San Francisco, CA working for the flagship brands Williams-Sonoma and Pottery Barn, among others. He gained early professional experience while coordinating guest services at a large boutique hotel in New York City.

Ben has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Gallatin School of Individualized Study at New York University where he graduated as a Founder’s Scholar. He will graduate with his master’s degree from West Virginia University in August 2020.
