Margaret Wiedenhoeft

Margaret has worked in the Center for International Programs at Kalamazoo College for over ten years in a variety of positions. Currently, she manages the Kalamazoo study abroad programs in China, France, India, Italy, Germany, Spain, and Thailand. Margaret received her BA in international studies from Emory University and a PhD in educational leadership, research, and technology from Western Michigan University.

Her interest and passion for international education began with her experience living, working, and studying in Berlin for four years. Professional interests include promoting non-traditional study abroad sites, short-term study abroad programming, international service learning projects, and conducting research about the impact and experience of study abroad on US college students.
