Meet with a cohort of other Interim Presidents and Chancellors to get meaningful support in a safe, trusted, and confidential setting

Overview

Interim Presidents and Chancellors face myriad challenges, and among the most daunting of these is stepping into the most visible leadership role on campus, often for the first time. Successful interim leaders must quickly assess their situation—relationships, power dynamics, immediate challenges and long-term needs—and figure out a plan to move ahead. Succeeding in these roles is difficult under any circumstances—a difficulty that has only increased in the midst of a global pandemic and racial reckoning.

And yet due to the unique nature of their appointments, Interim Presidents and Chancellors often lack the meaningful support to help them succeed. With these unique needs in mind, we’ve created a specialized roundtable, limited to 10 participants, to help you:

  • Navigate the unique complexities of being an Interim President or Chancellor.
  • Create space for meaningful self-reflection in a way that fits your demanding schedule.
  • Get real support in a safe, trusted, and confidential setting from experts and peers at a diverse range of institutions.

To preserve an intimate and productive experience, the roundtable will be capped at 10 attendees.

How Roundtables Work

The goal of our roundtables is to bring together a small cohort of peers for a comprehensive learning and networking experience. Through short, regular live meetings, you will come together with a maximum of nine other peers and our two experts in order to:

  • Build strong connections and expand your network
  • Try new tactics and approaches to improve your leadership
  • Share your own best practices and hear those of others
  • Carve out time for self-reflection
  • Be part of a cohort-based support community
  • Contribute to the conversation with your own thought leadership
