Learn how to improve student athletes’ engagement with career services on your campus.
Student athletes are a group that career services professionals often struggle to engage. Because of their busy schedules and heavy focus on athletics, student athletes do not always make the time for career development that they should. However, the reality is that a very small percentage of student athletes actually end up going pro, so it is important for career services to find ways to engage these students and help them plan for the future.
In response to these challenges, Temple University has created a comprehensive program comprised of several targeted career services initiatives that are specific to student athletes. This unique program has helped the university engage student athletes in career development where and how they want to be engaged, and they are seeing unparalleled success from these efforts.
Join us for this webcast and get ideas and inspiration for improving support of student athletes through career services on your own campus.
