Provost Summit 2: Anchoring Innovation in Your Institution’s Culture

Denver, CO | May 22, 2025 8:30 am MT - May 23, 2025 4:00 pm MT

Become the leader who is able to create lasting transformation.

Overview

This exclusive event is a follow-up to our Provost Summit: Leading for Innovation and Growth, and it’s designed to help you identify ways you can cultivate a campus culture that embodies innovation and sustains change over the long haul.

Specifically, you’ll discuss how to:

  • Overcome institutional obstacles that hinder progress, including managing resistance to change.
  • Leverage short-term wins for long-term momentum.
  • Catalyze innovation across campus through collaborative leadership.

This event brings Provosts together for a powerful experience that blends peer connection, personal leadership development, and actionable strategies that you can bring back to your campus. Hear real-world examples of how other institutions have successfully cultivated an innovative culture, and walk away empowered to do the same on your own campus. Attend this event and you’ll leave with an expanded network of other Provosts who are equally invested in thinking outside the box.

To preserve an intimate and productive experience, this conference is capped at 30 attendees.

Who should attend?

This summit has been specifically designed for Provosts and other Chief Academic Officers who are looking to think “bigger picture” about innovation and growth on campus.

While this event is a follow-up to the Provost Summit: Leading for Innovation and Growth, it is open to all. We recommend attending both events as they complement each other—together, they are designed to walk you through a comprehensive approach to change management. If you choose to attend both events, we recommend starting with Provost Summit: Leading for Innovation and Growth and then continuing on with this event.

Reviews

“As a newer provost, attending the AI Provost Summit was truly an invigorating experience. The summit not only provided valuable networking opportunities but also served as inspirational platform, fostering meaningful connections with fellow Provosts. I found the summit to be a great opportunity for gainful insights, exchanging ideas, and discovering innovative startups to further advance academic excellence and student success at my institution.”

“The Provost Summit was an excellent opportunity to meet outstanding peers from all different types of institutions and discuss strategic opportunities, how we can continue to grow as leaders, and learn innovative practices that can help us elevate the institutions we serve.”

“The opportunity to learn and engage with other Provosts around issues impacting higher education was outstanding. The environment allowed one to walk away feeling good about the practices that we may have in place on our own campuses but also be challenged about how to improve others.”

“The experience at the inaugural Provost conference was superb. Networking with other colleagues, sharing our own institutional issues, discussing current and future higher Ed issues, and learning how to better work as a team resulted in a high level experience that is unparalleled, based on my experience. Excellent job, AI!”
