Data-Driven Strategies
12:45 – 2:15 p.m.
Data is at the center of strong annual giving programs. Knowing what metrics are important to your organization, how to review giving and donor data, and understanding how to acquire, pull, and analyze your organization’s data and then share your data’s story with others are imperative to your program and professional success. This session will teach you how to critically review, request, and analyze data so that you can build out your reporting strategy and strengthen your business acumen.

Your role as an annual giving officer requires you to identify and build high-quality and trustworthy relationships with critical campus partners such as those on the academic side, as well as other campus partners like those in student affairs, athletics, etc.  In this session, you will learn why campus partnerships matter in the context of your shop’s philanthropic goals and how to approach and strategize critical conversations that generate ideas to inform future fundraising initiatives.

This session will teach you how to prioritize stewardship in your annual giving programs, collaborate with your stewardship colleagues, and how to identify your most promising future donors to deepen engagement.
