The Five Paths to Leadership℠ Self-Assessment and Applying It to Supervision and Communication Workshop for Truckee Meadows Community College

Self-awareness is at the heart of effective leadership and this assessment’s dynamic view of leadership helps leaders deepen their self-awareness of where they are in any given moment, how stress impacts their ability to lead, and how they can lead from each of the Five Paths depending on the situation or context. The intuitive and practical design of this model helps leaders maximize their own personal effectiveness and adapt to and gain influence with others. Uniquely, the tool also provides valuable insights into how your leadership changes under stress. This workshop will use the lens of the Five Paths to Leadership℠ to dive deeper into building good communication and trust between supervisors and supervisees. We will start with a debrief of your scores and time to talk as a team about what that means for you. Then we will discuss how you can apply your knowledge in the context of your supervisory relationships by developing common language and learning to understand the motivations of others.
