Overview

As a leader in professional development for higher education leaders across the world, Academic Impressions prides itself on delivering quality content that is data informed and rooted in practical application. Over the past year we have had a number of conversations with member institutions who have been seeking out inclusive leadership training for their team but have found that very few workshops speak directly to a faculty audience. In response to requests from our members we have embarked on the development of a training program that will speak directly to our faculty audience, but rather than build it in a vacuum, we have worked with campus leaders from across the country to identify key topics and develop a program structure. This next phase is our attempt to determine if what we built truly does achieve our intended outcomes.

Who should attend?

This program is designed for faculty looking to engage in self-reflection to grow as a more inclusive academic leader.

How it Works

Complete our inclusive academic program for building self-awareness over 12 weeks by engaging with both asynchronous and synchronous content. Every two weeks you’ll have an average of 90 minutes of asynchronous work that can be completed on-demand to fit your schedule. To successfully complete the program, attend a live sessions to kick off the program, take the pretest, engage the asynchronous content, take the post-test, and attend one final live session at the end of the program. Then you’ll:

  • Get regular reminders of on-demand videos and activities that can be completed on your lunch break or over the course of the week.
  • Attend two live sessions to apply your learning and engage in dialogue with peers from around the country. These sessions will be recorded and available on-demand for those who can’t attend live.
