Maria Lanza-Gladney
Ms. Lanza-Gladney has presented at both regional and national conferences on advising, and recently co-wrote an article for NACADA on the topic of taking the time to personalize and individualize advising for online students to help them feel more connected with the institution. In her current advising position at Rowan University, she works with both online and on-ground students. She previously researched and implemented new strategies to engage and support online students as a program coordinator and advisor at Drexel University. She has also served as a counselor/coordinator at Salem Community College, working within a TRIO program assisting students who placed in developmental courses. She earned her M.S.Ed in higher education administration from the University of Pennsylvania.
