Therese has been in higher education for over 25 years, with experience in academic affairs, student affairs, development, and operations. Following her purpose to help others grow and develop, Therese draws upon the work of such thought leaders as Meg Wheatley, Kouzes and Posner, Angela Duckworth, and Jim Collins to guide her work. It is Therese’s belief that we can all continually grow and enhance our ability to lead others. Her professional experience includes building a center focused on First Year programs for the University of Northern Colorado; implementing the first Student Support Services (TRIO) program for Aims Community College; creating professional development programs for the Alumni Association at Colorado State University; and the development and facilitation of the Supervisor Development Program at Colorado State University. In addition to her roles in higher education, Therese worked as a consultant to the Gallup Organization for four years. “Helping to develop transparent, impactful, and visionary leaders in higher education” Peter Cimbolic has spent his entire career in higher education in both the private and public sector, and has held key leadership positions in both academic and student affairs. He served as the President of Ohio Dominican University for seven years and retired from this position in 2017. Prior to his term of office at ODU, he served as provost at Bellarmine University, and then provost at Marywood University. He served at the Catholic University of America for 22 years, where he also held positions as vice provost and dean of graduate studies. In each of these positions, he simultaneously held the rank as a professor of psychology. Niecie Washington, Senior Meeting Planner, ensures that all our in-person events go off without a hitch. She is our go-to for meeting planning and logistics. Niecie has more than 15 years’ experience in meeting and event planning with organizations ranging from Academic Impressions, Marriott Corporation, and the City and County of Denver. Niece has a degree from Grambling State University and recently emptied her nest with her daughter flown off to Colorado State University. During the week, Niecie keeps us all on our toes; on the weekends, she enjoys a quiet house and some long overdue downtime.
Roshaon is currently Academic Impressions’ Director of Account Management. In this role, she is responsible leading Academic Impressions’ team of Account Managers who partner with members institutions to ensure their professional development goals are met. Originally from New Mexico, Roshaon attended and graduated from University of New Mexico (Go Lobos!) with a dual degree in political science and philosophy. She also holds a master’s degree in organizational leadership and development from CSU Global. Outside of work, Roshaon enjoys hiking, kayaking, and laying on the couch with her three dogs.
