Ricardo Azziz, MD, MPH, MBA

With over 25 years of leadership experience, throughout his career Ricardo has been actively engaged in ensuring that institutions reach their greatest potential. Among his numerous executive positions, he led the merger that resulted in Georgia Regents University (now Augusta University), serving as founding President, and he previously served as President of Georgia Health Sciences University, leading the merger and alignment of various clinical entities to create the state’s only public academic health system (now Augusta University Health System). Paul Marthers

Paul Marthers brings a uniquely experienced, and critically heralded expertise to this book. He currently serves as the Vice Provost for Enrollment Management and Co-Executive Director of the Undergraduate Project at Emory University (2017-2022), where he has also served as Interim Vice President of Campus Life. Prior to joining Emory, Marthers worked at the State University of New York System of 64 campuses as the chief enrollment and student affairs officer, as well as at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Reed College, Oberlin College, Phillips Academy, Boston College, Duke University, and Vassar College. Each of these roles involved managing a high degree of coordination between divisions that are often compartmentalized in higher education, granting him unique insights into how strategic integration of enrollment management, student affairs, and academic affairs can yield significant gains in student persistence by empowering a life-cycle approach to managing student success. Elizabeth Ross Hubbell

Elizabeth Ross Hubbell is an educator, author, and speaker with more than 20 years’ experience across many levels of education. She serves as Program Manager for Student Affairs where she conducts market research on current trends and issues impacting Higher Education, collaborates with subject matter experts, and designs professional learning experiences. Her primary topics of interest include women in higher ed leadership and new innovations in advising and career services. Prior to joining Academic Impressions, Elizabeth served as a K12 consultant, focusing on instructional strategies and technologies. She has presented at ASCD, ISTE, Colorado TIE, Learning Forward, SREB, NSBA’s T+L, and EARCOS conferences. Elizabeth is a former Montessori teacher.

Sarah Seigle Peatman

As the Director of Partner Development, Sarah interfaces with higher ed leaders regularly to understand their needs. She then uses her organizational and leadership development expertise to design engagements that support their goals and drive progress. Sarah travels to campuses across the country regularly to facilitate leadership workshops for faculty, chairs, deans, and staff. She oversees Academic Impressions’ academic leadership development and strategic planning work and supports others across the organization with needs analysis, proposal development, and engagement design.   Outside of the office, Sarah is a mother of two young daughters and resides in Vermont. She enjoys cooking and baking, spending time outdoors, journaling, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
