Chris Harmon
Chris has over 21 years of experience in the field of development and fundraising, with more than 15 years working directly with annual giving. He currently manages the Gettysburg Fund, where he is responsible for the administration and management of his institution's $3.5 million unrestricted annual campaign. Before joining Gettysburg, he served Frostburg State University as the director of development for annual giving. Chris has also worked as director of development for the Benedictine School for Developmentally Disabled Children, area director for the National Capital Area March of Dimes and Corporate TeamWalk, and special events coordinator for the Baltimore Area March of Dimes. He frequently presents for CASE and the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP).

Jeff Schanz
Under Jeff's direction,RPI alumni programs have received national recognition from CASE, including a number of Circle of Excellence awards for student programs, reunion and homecoming programs, special-interest groups, career assistance programs, and volunteer relations programs. Jeff has worked in higher education for more than 15 years, previously serving as director of alumni relations at Marist College, president of the Marist Alumni Association, and alumni representative to the Marist College Board of Trustees. He is a member of the board of directors of the Association of Private College and University Alumni Directors (PCUAD).

Ashlyn Sowell
With more than 15 years of development experience, Ashlyn is currently involved in the planning stages and hiring preparation for an institutional campaign at Gettysburg. She previously served her alma mater, Duke University, as the annual fund director at the Fuqua School of Business and a major gift officer at the university medical center. Before her time at Duke, Ashlyn represented The Children's House at Johns Hopkins and The Grant-A-Wish Foundation (now known as "Believe in Tomorrow") in Baltimore as a director of development.

Jeffrey A. Hilperts
In his role at Ohio State, Jeff oversees all aspects of campaign planning, which is steadily ramping up as the university prepares for a $2.5 billion comprehensive campaign, the largest in its history. In addition to his campaign duties, Jeff is responsible for managing the university's executive volunteers. Those groups include the University Foundation Board of Directors, the Campaign Steering Committee, and the President's Club Advisory Board, as well as college- and unit-based campaign committees. Working with university and volunteer leadership, Jeff and his team seek to provide meaningful and substantive opportunities for engagement and involvement. They are tasked with the recruitment, training, and retention of all volunteers, as well as with providing logistical support and direction to more than 3,000 volunteers across the university.
Prior to his role as the senior director, Jeff was the director of development and alumni affairs at the Michael E. Moritz College of Law at The Ohio State University, where he managed a team of advancement professionals engaged in alumni affairs, major and annual giving, and stewardship and donor relations. During Jeff's tenure at Moritz College, the law school successfully completed a comprehensive campaign by exceeding the goal by 20 percent. Jeff also has fundraising experience as a regional fundraiser for ALSAC/St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Jeremy R. Wells
Jeremy has spent his entire career serving the nonprofit sector. Prior to arriving at Augsburg, he served as the vice president for development and alumni relations at Saint Mary's University and held various positions during his tenure at Jamestown College, his alma mater. He holds his Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) certification and an M.A. in philanthropy and development from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota. Jeremy's master's thesis explored the topic of utilizing fund development volunteers in higher education institutions. His long-held belief in the importance of volunteers has led him down a path that has made him one of the foremost proponents of and experts on this topic. He has spoken for many notable organizations, including the Association for Fundraising Professionals (AFP), the Council for Aid and Support of Education (CASE), the Association of Lutheran Development Executives (ALDE), and many others. Jeremy's primary topics of focus include development planning, alumni engagement, major and principle giving, and volunteerism.

Christine Tempesta
Christine leads staff in serving MIT's national boards and committees, volunteer leadership development, and the MIT Enterprise Forum. She also implements other initiatives that mirror institutional goals, including engaging alumni in K-12 STEM education, MIT's 150th Anniversary, and MIT's Energy Initiative. Christine previously served the institution as its director of alumni relations. Before arriving at MIT, she held multiple positions at the American Heart Association, culminating in her position as the organization's executive director for the greater Boston area. Christine has served on the CASE District 1 Board of Directors since 2006 and currently chairs the CASE Achievement and Recognition Awards program.
