Overview

Use information meetings to yield a higher applicant rate.

As the number of adult students increases, more colleges and universities are using information meetings as a recruiting tool for that demographic. While these meetings often draw a number of adult prospects, institutions struggle to convert these engaged prospects into applicants.

This archived webcast will walk you through the planning and implementation of a successful information meeting based on Guilford College's model, which yields a 90% applicant rate from such meetings. The model is a compilation of many common sense steps which, when used together, produce impressive results. We will walk you through steps for:

Retired Dean of Continuing Education

Guilford College

Bill has extensive experience in higher education and the private sector, as well as in local and state government. Using his broad experience and a unique marketing perspective, he was able to transform a languishing adult degree program at Guilford College into a dramatically successful one, increasing total enrollments nearly 400% in just 5 years.

Prior to joining Guilford as a faculty member in the business management department, Bill was a senior manager with Price Waterhouse where he worked in their higher education practice to complete state-wide reviews of college and university systems. Before that he worked on the evaluation of programs in three different state agencies.
