Annette has over 13 years of experience in alumni relations at Illinois State University. In 1996 she began as the assistant director for student and young alumni programming and served as the advisor for the Student Alumni Council. Annette's personal recognition includes a Silver Medal Award for Best Student Programming from the Council for Advancement and Support of Education in 2005 and recognition as Advisor of the Year by ISU in 2006. Since 2006, Annette's focus has moved to managing virtual relationships for the alumni association through the alumni magazine, monthly e-newsletter, and a variety of websites. Her work has been featured in a Wired Communities podcast. She was a panelist for a previous MySpace and Facebook webinar, and has presented at various conferences.
