John Leedock
In his role as immigration specialist and program coordinator, John Leedock works with the faculty and student affairs offices to promote globalization of student education inside and outside of the classroom. He regularly works with various university offices to enhance traditional student services to supporting the unique needs of immigrant and non-immigrant students. In addition to his administrative work, he has developed and currently teaches a course designed to support the individual acculturation and integration processes of international students, scholars, and their dependents. Outside of the office, he volunteers with the South Suburban Immigrant Project in southwest suburban Chicago, which provides integration and legal counseling for local immigrants and non-immigrants. He also conducts research on international student, refugee, and immigrant acculturation in Chicago.

Chrissy Roth
Chrissy Roth is the associate director of orientation programs at the University of Southern California. She is specifically responsible for coordinating international student orientation, graduate student orientation, and Hong Kong orientation. Additionally, Chrissy oversees “The United States: An American Culture Series,” where USC staff members and graduate students teach new international students about American ways and values throughout their first semester. Chrissy joined USC in 2007 after completing her master’s degree in higher education at New York University. She became interested in working professionally at a university while she was an journalism undergraduate student at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. As a graduate student at NYU, she held internships at NYU, Fordham University, and Temple University. She is an active member of the National Orientation Directors Association and is the co-chair and co-founder of the International Student Orientation Network.
