Janet Deal Daniel, Ed.S.
Janet oversees the Office of Adult Students and Evening Services (OASES) at UNC Charlotte, which is designed to enhance student success, and works collaboratively with academic units to provide the 49er Finish program, re-entry programs, advising, scholarships, a nontraditional student organization, a mentoring program, newsletters, and an honor society for adults on campus. In addition to internal relationships, Janet oversees OASES work with external organizations to promote the mission of OASES and develop scholarships for adult students. In addition to her present work with academic programs, Janet enhances learning opportunities for professionals and students by hosting and presenting at national and regional conferences for UNC Charlotte. She coordinated a recent adult learner conference sponsored by UNC Charlotte, the Charlotte Area Educational Consortium, and the North Carolina Adult Education Association; and she assisted in coordinating the 2012 Region 3 NACADA Conference in Charlotte. One of the founding leaders of the Association for Non-Traditional Students in Higher Education (ANTSHE), she has served as conference director and host for two national ANTSHE conferences. In addition, Janet serves on the executive board of Phi Kappa Phi at UNC Charlotte, and currently holds an office on the executive board of Women Administrators in North Carolina Higher Education. She has recently co-authored a paper on the 49er Finish Program published by the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers.

Kelly L. Moore
Following completion of an MA in community counseling at UNC Charlotte, Kelly joined the UNC Charlotte Office of Adult Students and Evening Services, where she coordinates the 49er Finish Program, a program to encourage and assist former UNC Charlotte students to return and complete their degree. Kelly advises adult and nontraditional students on general education requirements, working with students to establish career, educational, and personal goals and chart a course to achievement. Kelly is involved in planning the North Carolina Adult Education Association and NACADA Region 3 conferences, and has recently completed Distance Credentialed Counselor certification and Strong Interest Inventory certification.
