Optimizing Your Fundraising Strategy: A Summit for Presidents and Advancement Vice Presidents

Denver, CO | October 5, 2026 8:00 am MT - October 6, 2026 3:00 pm MT

Develop a common purpose and sense of shared philanthropic responsibility as institutional leaders.

Event Information

As a President or Advancement Vice President, you play a critical role in shaping the environment that attracts significant and sustained philanthropic investments. You’re also likely aware of the value of a lifelong donor and the importance of attracting entrepreneurial-minded donors, both of whom want to make a difference to society through your institution.

Join us in Denver for this two-day summit with fellow executive leaders, to learn how a strategic fundraising approach, paired with strong institutional leadership, can cultivate a thriving culture of philanthropy. Specifically, you will:

  • Explore the evolving landscape of higher education and its connection to your institution’s philanthropic health.
  • Gain hands-on experience in transforming strategic visions and outcomes-focused initiatives into compelling concept papers for prospective donors.
  • Understand how your leadership style influences your ability to drive strategy and guide high-performing teams toward fundraising priorities and campaign goals.

Bring your Board Chair to create alignment around shared priorities and decision-making! Institutions who register their President and Vice President of Advancement can bring their Board Chair for free. Contact operations@academicimpressions.com to take advantage of this offer.

To preserve an intimate and productive experience, this workshop is capped at 30 attendees.

Who should attend?

Whether youre new to your role or part of a seasoned team preparing for a strategic plan or comprehensive campaign, this summit is designed for university Presidents and their Chief Advancement Officers who are looking to develop and communicate a strategic vision for their institution to secure philanthropic investment. We strongly recommend attending together. Board Chairs, Provosts, and other cabinet leaders are also encouraged to attend.
