Event Information

Make sure that you are signed into your Academic Impressions account (create one if needed) and click “Express Register” on the right to access the resources and assessments.

This five-day leadership development program, facilitated by Academic Impressions, is designed to strengthen leadership capacity across our Advancement division. Built around the Office of Advancement Leadership Principles—act with integrity; be courageous, trustworthy, and effective in communications; care for the whole person; and demonstrate accountability and resilience—the program provides a shared framework for how we lead ourselves, our teams, and our work together.

Over the course five full-day workshops, participants engage in highly interactive sessions that combine self-reflection, skill-building, and applied practice. By engaging in this program together, OA professionals build stronger relationships across the division, create alignment around core leadership values, and practice the skills needed to communicate with courage, lead with integrity, and support one another through change.

Agenda topics are subject to change based on ongoing collaboration between Georgetown and Academic Impressions. Please revisit this page for updated pre-work and other information in advance of each session. If you have any questions about the program or the content of this page, please contact Jenn Duffield, Senior Learning & Development Manager, at jenn@academicimpressions.com

Agenda

Days 1 & 2: October 16-17, 2025

To prepare for this session:

1. If you have not already done so within the last year, please complete The Five Paths to Leadership® Self-Assessment.

The Five Paths to Leadership® is a proven model that helps individuals and teams understand their leadership strengths—and how to apply them more effectively. Unlike other leadership models that assign you a single style, Five Paths measures your ease of access to five intuitive leadership styles: Critical Thinker, Relator, Visionary, Warrior, and Sage. The assessment opens doors to more effective interpersonal and team dynamics. With this knowledge, you can strengthen collaboration, lead with greater confidence, and help your teams thrive in a changing world. It should take about 15 minutes to complete. Please note that once you begin the assessment, you will not be able to save it to complete later, so make sure that you have enough time to answer all the questions.

Once done, your results will be automatically emailed to you from webmaster@academicimpressions.com (make sure to check your inbox and spam folder) and they will also appear here: https://www.academicimpressions.com/my-account/my-five-paths-results/

2. Complete this brief pre-test assessment prior to the kickoff. It should take you less than 5 minutes to complete. https://forms.office.com/r/VAekLp5KmA
