In this role, Lindsay develops and drives strategy for direct faculty-to-alumni engagement by applying a volunteer management model to faculty. Working closely with development directors, engagement officers, and college leadership, Lindsay facilitates quality faculty-to-alumni connections through various virtual and in-person programs and events. These programs include live video webinars with faculty speakers, research presentations, a virtual book club, lifelong learning programs, and faculty-to-alumni meet-ups around the world. Prior to her transition into higher education, Lindsay was an event producer for eight years at a sponsorship marketing agency, working with a variety of Fortune 500 clients on creating and executing world-class hospitality events.
Dr. Tim Carey is a longtime administrator with an extensive background in facilities leadership and management. He joined Ithaca College, a private residential institution in upstate New York, in 2014.
In addition to his CFRE, Ben holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification that strongly influences his project-management approach to corporate and foundation relations. He regularly presents on organizational capacity building topics for environmental groups, has published articles on integrating technology into traditional non-profit work, and has provided fundraising training for a variety of audiences, including community groups and university faculty and staff. He and his family enjoy camping and hiking as often as they can, and Ben also gardens and keeps bees.
Kirsten has been with the University of Oregon Foundation as head of the Gift Services Department for five years. She is responsible for the overall management and development of the Foundation gift processing function, including charitable gifts and pledges, gift receipts, memberships, related documentation and reporting. Prior to that she spent four years at the University of New Mexico Foundation in their Gift Administration Department. In addition to overseeing the day to day operations of gift processing, she implemented Development wide training and helped create policies and procedures for the intranet.

Tara Stopfel Warden specializes in leadership and program design in advising and enrollment management. Tara was the founding director of UC’s Center for Exploratory Studies, selected as a national exemplary practice program in 2007 for supporting students through major selection. She established the university’s Office of Advising & Academic Services in 2014. In 2016, she designed UC’s new Center for Pathways Advising & Student Success, housing transfer/transition advising, early alert and retention outreach, and advisor training & development. Her work at universities in Ohio, Tennessee, and Texas has included service as Associate Dean of Students, Assistant Dean for Arts & Sciences, Director of Career Development, and Director of Residence Life. Tara served on the faculty for the National Academic Advising Association (NACADA) Administrators Institute in 2018. Tara is a recipient of the Marian Spencer Diversity Ambassador Award and the Barbara Schooley Award for outstanding contributions to the UC advising community. She is also a graduate of the Higher Education Resource Services (HERS) Institute.
