This generational diversity makes our teams stronger and more ready to meet the needs of an increasingly diverse student population. Managing Difficult Faculty & Staff: A Bootcamp for Leaders

Join us online for a four-week bootcamp where you will learn how to intervene and correct the most problematic performances and behaviors within your team. Within the bootcamp, you will be introduced to the “EM & EM” model, which includes four increasingly authoritative steps intended to engage, set expectations for behavioral change, communicate consequences for non-compliance, and minimize the ill effects of bad behaviors on others. We will also address the unique aspects of higher education culture that complicate employee oversight, including tenure, union contracts, and ill-defined leadership structures. Provost Summit: Leading for Innovation and Growth

In today’s rapidly changing world, innovation has become a critical driver of success for individual leaders and their organizations. Advanced Title IX Investigator Training and Certification 

As Title IX 2020 Final Regulations and accompanying OCR Guidance continue to unfold, so do the complexities involved in sexual harassment cases that universities must address. Upon the filing of a formal complaint alleging sexual harassment, the Title IX 2020 Amendments require institutions to conduct a thorough and impartial investigation within their grievance process. These investigations are highly sensitive and often complex; even experienced and skilled investigators must continually refine and enrich their investigative skills. This training will provide learning space and allow experienced investigators to further develop their investigative skills and obtain invaluable insights from our expert faculty and their peers. Academic and student success leaders at the institution do not always know how to move those goals forward and are hindered by a fear of failure and a lack of creativity. And all too often, faculty and staff working directly with students do not understand how their roles contribute to the overarching student success goals of their institutions. Join us for this workshop to help you refine your student success goals. Our expert facilitators will help you to brainstorm what you do well, what you need to improve, and what’s not going well with respect to student success. You will then have the opportunity to work with colleagues from across the country on developing innovative solutions to the challenges you face.
