Doug Tuttle
A graduate of the FBI National Academy and the National Crime Prevention Institute, Doug currently teaches in the University of Delaware’s graduate public affairs program and coordinates the professional development training offered through the Academy for Excellence in Local Government Leadership. Before assuming his current roles, he served for 25 years in the University of Delaware Department of Public Safety, the last 12 of those as its director. Doug is a past regional director and president of the International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators (IACLEA) and has testified twice before the US House Subcommittee on Postsecondary Education concerning campus security legislation. A former outside reviewer of the Department of Education’s Handbook for Campus Crime Reporting, he continues to advance higher education campus safety compliance through conference presentations across the country.
