Steven Antalvari

Steven Antalvari, M.A.Ed. graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Psychology and Organizational Leadership and Supervision, followed by a graduate degree in Higher Education Administration from the University of Akron. In 2008, Steven joined Kent State University advising primarily Exploratory students. Promoted in 2011 to Assistant Director, he architected the Exploration Plan whose backbone is rooted in Life Design and Self Authorship. In 2013, he was promoted again, this time to Director of University Advising, now Academic Engagement and Degree Completion. This position served to provide centralized oversight to the advising offices within the Kent State University system. During his tenure in this position, he has focused on training advisors and University community in embracing Career Construction and related narrative driving techniques into student interactions.
